Katie has a passion for ensuring ahigh level of client satisfaction and that clients feel confident in the legal process.

Katie achieved a 2:1 LLB Law Hons degree from the University of Nottingham Law School in July 2024.

Alongside working, Katie began studying for her Solicitor Qualifying Exams in September 2025, with the intention to qualify as a Financial Remedies’ Family Solicitor upon completion.

Outside of work Katie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading and creative hobbies.

Kim is a Solicitor at our Nottingham office, though she often works from our other offices. She joined as a Paralegal at the start of 2022, after her career as Head of English at a local secondary school.

Lucy is a Senior Associate and Head of Family Law Direct. She jointly heads up the Derby office and also works in the Nottingham office. Lucy has the role of Head of the Family Law Direct team where she supervises around five paralegals within the team.

Julie initially obtained a Psychology degree, after which she decided to pursue a career in law and qualified as a solicitor in 2004. She then joined the family team which then became Family Law Group in 2005, helping shape the team to what it is now.
