Kim is an SQE Apprentice Solicitor at our Nottingham office. She joined us as a Paralegal at the start of 2022 after a career as Head of English at a local secondary school. She obtained a degree in English in 2012 and has just completed her law conversion degree, whilst working full time.
Having extensive experience with children, it was a natural fit for Kim to assist Julie Foster in private law children matters. Her knowledge and experience ensure that children are always at the centre of any proceeding, along with supporting the client through what is understandably a difficult time. She is approachable and able to quickly build trust and rapport, providing excellent client care.
Kim is very much looking forward to the SQE; she has a love of learning and is enjoying the process to become a qualified solicitor.
Kim assisted Julie Foster on the reported case MacDougall v Others; this was one of her first cases.

Outside of her career, Kim enjoys baking, spending weekends away and loves to swim but is not a fan of the great outdoors!
