Emergency Services & Armed Forces Discount Scheme
We provide a discount on family legal services for personnel who are currently employed by or retired from and in receipt of a pension from the Police, Fire, NHS, Mountain Rescue & Coastguard and all areas of the Armed Forces.
We offer a 50% discount on the first hourly rate appointment to all emergency service personnel (subject to the qualifying criteria below).
How to Qualify
Current employees or retired personnel will need to bring a wage or pension slip dated within the last 3 months to their first legal appointment. The wage slip should be from one of the organisations mentioned above.
The discount will apply to all hourly rate appointments to discuss family law matters including those listed below.
Divorce or Separation
Whether you are married or cohabiting, the breakdown of a relationship is a very difficult and emotional time.
You are likely to have concerns in respect of your children, the marital home or financial settlements as a result of the separation. We will provide you with expert legal advice to help you achieve the best outcome for you and your family.
We have experienced solicitors to advise on a range of child law issues. If your marriage or relationship has broken down, we can help to make arrangements regarding your children. We recognise that dealing with the arrangements for children where one (or both) parents work shifts or works for the armed forces can be particularly challenging.
Our solicitors have experience in dealing with these types of case and can provide tailored advice with useful practical solutions and if necessary, we can help you to apply to the court.
It is inevitable that there will be concerns over financial arrangements when a marriage or relationship ends. We specialise in all financial issues arising from a divorce or separation.
For married people who are separating and work in the emergency services or armed forces, often one of the most valuable asset involved in the divorce is the pension held. We can provide specialist advice on protecting pension assets and how best to deal with this as part of the financial settlement.
