Ella is an SQE Apprentice in our Milton Keynes Office. Ella initially joined Family Law Group in May 2022 after completing four weeks work experience and was offered a permanent role as a paralegal. Ella has since been accepted onto Family Law Group’s SQE apprenticeship scheme as she embarks on her SQE examinations with the hope of qualifying as a solicitor in 2025.
Ella obtained a First Class degree in her MA Sociology Degree from the University of Warwick and BA Sociology Degree from the University of Northampton. Ella later pursued her interest in the law and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2022 at Birmingham City University.
Ella specialises in both care proceedings and private children matters on both a private and legally aided basis. Ella also has experience with Public Law Outline matters and domestic abuse matters working closing with Domestic Abuse Services. Along with her colleagues in the Milton Keynes office, Ella helps run a free advice clinic with SASS MK specialising in advice to sexual abuse victims around injunctions, Non-Molestation Orders and child arrangements.
Throughout her time at FLG, Ella has assisted associate solicitors and has had the opportunity to work on Fabrication Injury and Illness cases, Special Guardianship Orders and Exceptional Case Funded cases.
Ella’s ambition has been to practice family law since having prior experience in the litigation finance industry and is passionate about assisting clients to achieve their desired outcome through proceedings that are often stressful and demanding. Ella was initially drawn to approaching FLG due to their desire to ensure that all members of society are treated equally in the eyes of justice.
Outside of work, Ella is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with friends and family when she can.
