Donato Damiano

Donato is an SQE Apprentice Solicitor initially joining Family Law Group in September 2017. He was previously based in the Milton Keynes office before moving and assisting with the opening of the Bedford office in February 2021.

Donato specialises in both legally aided public and private law children matters, domestic abuse matters and represents parents throughout the Public Law Outline process. He also accepts instructions from privately paying clients who are not eligible for Legal Aid.

Donato initially completed a nine-month placement with Family Law Group in 2017, before returning to the University of Brighton and obtaining a 2:1 in his LLB Law with Business degree in 2019. He is now undergoing training as a Solicitor, undertaking the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).

Donato is passionate about helping vulnerable clients through what can be the most stressful and challenging times of their lives. He is highly approachable, building positive rapports and working closely with his clients to achieve their desired outcomes. Donato is committed to ensuring that justice is accessible to all members of society, considering it imperative that the voices of his clients are heard throughout Court proceedings.

Outside of his career, Donato plays football at a competitive level and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He loves to travel and speaks fluent Italian.
