Imrana joined Family Law Group in July 2019 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2005. She works out of our Peterborough, and Cambridge office and specialises in private law children domestic violence cases, divorce and financial matters.

Imrana achieved her LLB law degree from Nottingham Trent University in 2002. She then went on to complete her Legal Practice Course, achieving a commendation at the College of Law in London. Imrana has trained and worked within family law since qualification, both for local firms in Peterborough and Legal 500 practices. During this time she has always specialised in family law and can assist both private clients and those clients that qualify for Legal Aid.

For Imrana, she has always held a desire to help people in vulnerable positions, so it was a natural step to become a solicitor. Having specialist skills and specific knowledge in the area of domestic violence, Imrana has developed close links with domestic violence support groups and refuges locally. She finds the experience of working with some of the most vulnerable people in society rewarding, as she can help and advise them through an exceptionally difficult time in their lives, whilst dealing with their case sensitively.

To further support her legal experience, Imrana is an accredited Family Panel member of the Law Society's Family Law Advanced, specialising in private law children abd domestic abuse. She is also a member of Resolution, which promotes a constructive and non-confrontational approach.

Outside of her career, Imrana is dedicated to being family orientated, spending most of her time with her children travelling, going to the theatre and having fun together.

Imrana speaks fluent Urdu and Punjabi.

''I cannot fault Imrana Masters from Peterborough Family Law group for her expertise and advice over what has been the hardest year of my life. From start to finish I have felt fully supported. I was entitled to legal aid due to being both a student and having been a victim of domestic abuse. At the beginning of this process I did not have a legal representative, it was very stressful as I was unaware of my rights. I would highly recommend Imrana to help and resolve any issues you may have.''
''My experience has been very positive with Imrana masters from Peterborough family law group. Imrana has been very supportive and helpful throughout the process of my divorce . Being a victim of domestic violence imrana helped me taking occupation and non molestation orders for my safety . She helped me with child arrangements and also helped me sort finances out. She is not only a brilliant solicitor but also a brilliant human with a good heart.I would highly recommend Imrana masters. May God bless her Amen''
''The support and service received from Imrana and Sonia at the Peterborough office has been fantastic and key to staying on course and strong through a difficult and lengthy process as well as achieving the outcome I hoped for. The advice and guidance has been spot on, delivered in a supportive manner, always explaining options and choices clearly and concisely.
Not that I plan to repeat this little life adventure but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Imrana's professional and friendly support to anyone in need of family law knowledge and guidance''
''Imrana and Sonia are very contactable whenever you need them or when you have a question. No jargon is used and Imrana explains things in an easy to understand manner and knows what she is talking about. Can’t fault the service nor the outcome I got.''
''Iv been working with Imrana & Sonia at the Peterborough office for around 18 months I genuinely have taken things out of them out of frustration and they've dealt with my emotions not just in a professional way but also a sympathetic way they've understood how this has affected me I was in a really difficult previous relationship and my ex took my son away from me and kept him away for over 2 an half years yesterday I got a order drafted with 90% of everything I wanted due to Imrana and Sonia help I can't thank them enough and if I couldn't of made things harder for them with my emotional attachment to this case/my son I also have learning difficulties and really struggled with understanding lots of bits threw the case non the less both Imrana & Sonia made extra time to read out to me lots of complicated information and help me understand it I couldn't recommend the family law group enough they've supported me not just legally with this case but also with the understanding and to finally add to this I was declined for legal aid twice but the family law group was fully aware I was entitled to it so they fort for me and they got me accepted for legal aid with advising me what to send in this company and they staff morals and ethics couldn't be better aligned I'm so so happy and it's down to the efforts of Imrana & Sonia'
I saw Imrana masters recently who I have spoken to a few times over the phone but this was my 1st face to face consultation. She was very helpful with filling out a form I needed help with and explained it very well as we were going through it. She answered any questions I had and put me at ease. I would definitely go back to imrana as I was so nervous about going however, she made me feel like I was talking to a friend and not a solicitor. She was very professional yet very friendly .There is car parking there which is really handy.
