Alexandra is a Solicitor and Deputy Head of Family Law Direct. Alexandra joined Family Law Group in November 2017. She works at the Northampton and Wellingborough offices and specialises in private law children, divorce, matrimonial finance, and injunction matters.
Having achieved her Diploma in Law at De Montfort University, Alexandra then went on to achieve her Legal Practice Certificate in 2015. Whilst Alexandra has previous experience in other areas of law, her real passion is to make a difference to clients and people going through a very difficult time in their lives. She felt that family law would allow her to follow and achieve this passion.
She says that during her University studies, the area of family law really inspired her and this was strengthened by her grandmother having been a judge and barrister.
Alexandra is a very approachable person and is a great listener and she utilises these skills with her clients in order to work out the best solution for them. She has a logical approach, lots of common sense when dealing with legal issues and real life practical experience. Alexandra wants to make a difference and gets a huge sense of achievement in seeing how that difference positively affects her clients from when they first approach her for help to the final outcome at the end of the case.
To further support her legal experience and interests, Alexandra is a member of Resolution and member of Northamptonshire Law Society.
Outside of her career, Alexandra enjoys cross stitch and make gifts for friends or families and as decorations for around her home. Alexandra is also a Brownie Leader in Northampton and goes by the name of Fluffy Owl.
