Nadia Sheikh

Having achieved a 2:1 in her law degree at Hatfield University, Nadia went on to achieve her Legal Practice Course whilst working at a law firm gaining experience across a number of different areas of law. Nadia always knew that she wanted to specialise in the area of family law and joined Family Law Group in order to work alongside like-minded people in the area of law that she is passionate about.

Nadia says that this is her best decision so far, it provides her with; “the opportunity to help the most vulnerable clients in very distressed situations. I like to hear the feeling of confidence from my clients once I provide them with the necessary guidance and advice, it’s a heart warming feeling”.

Nadia is hard working and dedicated to providing her clients with the very best advice and pragmatic solutions in their matters. Every client’s matter is unique to Nadia and she affords each client the respect to analyse and research their matter in detail to allow her clients to obtain the best results going forward.

Nadia has a great interest in advocacy and she wishes to obtain a certificate in higher rights going forward. This will allow her to represent her clients in court. Nadia will be well acquainted with her client’s matter already, in effect, endeavouring to gain positive outcomes in matters that she is already well versed in. This will prove to be beneficial to her clients and cost effective.

Nadia has also made an application to be registered as a magistrate in her local area. She is keen to offer her support in her community and is in contact with voluntary charity organisations in an attempt to assist them too.

On a personal level, Nadia says that she enjoys the varied work that the legal profession provides as no case is ever the same and it provides the chance to continuously learn.

Outside of her career, Nadia likes to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys dining at exclusive restaurants.

Nadia speaks five languages including Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and Gujarati.
