Chris joined Family Law Group in June 2016 as a trainee, and was promoted in September 2022 to Finance Manager. He is based in our Nottingham Office.

Chris initially studied Sports Therapy at university, but soon decided this wasn’t for him. He then went on to pursue a career in finance. Having worked through the ranks to Finance Manager, Chris now specialises in management accounts, and providing all the relevant and detailed information needed, to aid and assist in the decision making for the business. 

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with family and walking his dog. He’s also a big sports enthusiast, particularly for football and cricket. Chris is a Nottingham Forest supporter.

Amanda started her legal career in commercial property and as a result of being made redundant, changed direction to become a Paralegal in family law. Whilst working, Amanda completed her legal studies in the evening to qualify as a Legal Executive.

Kim is an SQE Apprentice Solicitor at our Nottingham office. She joined us as a Paralegal at the start of 2022 after a career as Head of English at a local secondary school. She obtained a degree in English in 2012 and has just completed her law conversion degree.

Lucy is a Solicitor and Head of Family Law Direct. Lucy joined Family Law Group in August 2022. She works in the Nottingham office and spends time at the Derby office. Lucy has taken up the role of Head of the Family Law Direct team where she supervises the five paralegals.

Julie initially obtained a Psychology degree, after which she decided to pursue a career in law and qualified as a solicitor in 2004. She then joined the family team which then became Family Law Group in 2005, helping shape the team to what it is now.
