Shazia Rana is an Senior Associate working from our Milton Keynes office and has over five years experience in Family Law. She obtained her LLB honours degree in Law and went on to complete her Legal Practice course at the College of Law in Birmingham in 2008. Whilst undertaking her LPC, Shazia provided assistance on a voluntary basis to organisations including the Citizens Advice Bureau. She is dedicated to working with vulnerable members of society and is committed to local charitable work.
Shazia has been specialising in both Children and Family Law since qualifying. She represents parents and family members in Children Act proceedings and all children matters, including special guardianship, care and paternity disputes. Shazia has been instructed in a number of complex cases involving cruelty to children and serious allegations of harm to children.
In addition, she is able to advise on Matrimonial matters and practices in the County Courts. She also undertakes the majority of her own advocacy work.
Shazia is fluent in the Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
