A Nottingham law practice is toasting the success of a ‘rising star’ who has qualified as a solicitor.
Shamiza Zia, will now be one of the leading figures at Nottingham Family Law Group, based at the firm’s Albion Street headquarters in the city centre.
“I am delighted to have qualified and am grateful for the opportunity to be able to help the people of Nottingham through what is often a difficult and tragic time in their lives,” said Shamiza who specialises in Matrimonial, Private Law Children and Domestic Abuse.
The 27-year-old is a trustee at Women’s Aid Integrated Services in Nottingham and a Committee Member of the Nottingham Muslim Women’s Network. She also has been a key speaker in various domestic abuse conferences and is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.
